Riddles & Glory is built by Tipsy Pixel, an independent game studio. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we don't do with it. Your data is used to run the game — nothing more, nothing less.

Information we collect

We collect only what's necessary to run the game and deliver a great experience.

How we use your information

• Link your email address to your riddles so they follow you across devices
• Display your scores on weekly, monthly, and all-time leaderboards — accessible to all players
• Rank creators on the Creator Leaderboard by riddle play count
• Deliver the Daily Riddle and track your participation
• Power real-time private multiplayer sessions via room codes
• Manage your Free or Premium subscription status
• Send service-related communications — never marketing spam
• Diagnose bugs and improve app performance
• Comply with legal obligations where required

Third-party services

• Firebase — Real-time multiplayer, authentication, and cloud data storage.
• Apple App Store — Subscription and in-app purchase processing.
• Analytics Provider — Anonymous, aggregate usage data to improve the app.

Leaderboards & public content

Riddles & Glory is built around community and competition. The following is visible to all players:

• Your username and scores on global leaderboards
• Riddles you publish to the community pool — discoverable and playable by everyone
• Your position on the Creator Leaderboard, ranked by riddle play count

Private multiplayer rooms are visible only to players with your room code and never affect global rankings. Drafts are never shared.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your email identity is active in the app. If you request deletion, personal information is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymous analytics may be retained in aggregate — it cannot be linked back to you.

• Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — Ask us to update inaccurate information
• Deletion — Request deletion of your data and email identity
• Portability — Receive your data in a portable format
• Objection — Object to certain types of processing

Children's privacy

Riddles & Glory is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has linked an email address in the app, contact us and we will delete their data promptly.

Security

We use industry-standard security including encrypted data transmission and secure cloud infrastructure via Firebase. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, but we take every reasonable precaution to protect your data.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify you via an in-app notice. Continued use of Riddles & Glory after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
